HOME AND BUSINESS ALARM SYSTEMS

Due to the continuous rise in housebreaking incidents and in business office breaking incidents, the installation of a modern security system for the protection of your place, but also for the protection of the people living in it, is absolutely necessary.

The purchase and installation of a modern security system actually saves us time by holding off the ambitious burglar and allowing the intervention of the police or your security provider.
The more complicated the security system, the more difficult and time consuming is its possible neutralisation. On the other hand, it is believed that the installation of a security system actually has a preventive effect and leads the ambitious burglar to a nearby “target”, not having a security system.
The modern data of criminality indicate a new form of violence, the intrusion of criminals in houses and business offices, with people being inside, with the intent of burglary.
The security system should therefore be one effective in protecting people's life.It is therefore clearly understood that the installation of a security system is a very serious issue, which needs to be treated with respect and due seriousness, both by the person who will decide its installation and by the installer himself.
Our company, exclusive representative of General Electrics Security in Crete, assumes the responsibility of the preparation of the appropriate study, installation and operation of the security systems we offer, as well as the responsibility of the maintenance and service of these systems, so as to guarantee their proper operation and, as a result, the security of life and property of our customers.

WHAT IS AN ALARM? It is a smart electronic system which aims to detect human motion in the surrounding space and acts according to our orders.

When we are in this space, the alarm is turned off, it detects our movements, but it doesn’t send any signal to the central alarm panel. However, when we leave the place, the alarm is turned on.From that moment on, any movement detected is considered as a breaking in and intrusion in the place.Right after the detection, the alarm sends the siren the order to ring out and at the same time it reports to a 24/7 Signal Reception Centre, which assumes the responsibility to inform the competent authorities.

The alarm consists of:

  • The central panelof the alarm which is installed where the cables end. After all the wiring on the panel has been completed and the cables have been joined together by a special joint, the panel locks into position and only specialized personnel and the system user have access to it.

  • The keyboard which is installed at the house entrance so that the user, coming in or out, can turn on or off the system through the 4-digit password he/she has chosen.

  • The external siren which is self-protected and installed high above the head at a clearly visible spot, aiming to have a preventive effect.

  • The internal siren which is installed on the central panel and, when activated in a closed space, creates a loud sound causing panic to the ambitious burglar, who then runs away.

  • The battery which provides the energy reserve in case of blackout and allows the system’s normal operation in case we fall short of current.

  • The transformer which transforms the 220VAC supply from the Public Power Corporation S.A. to a 16VAC supply, which is the appropriate electric potential for our system.

  • The motion detectors: when the system is turned on, if they detect any motion in the surrounding space, the alarm is immediately turned on.

  • The magnetic contacts which are installed in all wooden or aluminium door and window frames, offering a strong feeling of safety during sleep or while being at home with our family. How is this achieved? By just pressing the “stay” key from the keyboard, the motion detectors are automatically turned off so that we can move freely in the house and the system for the doors and windows is turned on, so that if someone breaks in from the window or the door, even if it’s only for 0.5 cm, the alarm bell rings out immediately.

  • The GSM, which is installed in the central alarm panel and serves as a phone notification system through a mobile phone.

The security systems and alarms cover your home and business needs and are installed in indoor and outdoor spaces.
